"Regresare a Mi Tierra" is a painting inspired by a recent plant purchase I made into my collection. I bought an Anthurium Clariverium and after doing my research on it figured out she was native to Chiapas, Mexico. I instantly fell even more in love with her and taking care of her. I knew I needed to paint her, and she just kept inspiring me to include more surreal magic into it. Inspired by my desire to return home, to allow myself to grow enough to return home.
